About FSSE:
FSSE was formed to connect future social science educators from the majors History, Political Science, Geography, Sociology, James Madison, and IDS: Social Science Education. The goal of FSSE is to become a resource for all social science majors and to achieve this we will be hosting professional development meetings, to become better prepared for the future, and why we plan social events, to come together as a group so that in the future we can use each other as tools and links into the education field.
We are a brand new group and are looking for members with the drive and enthusiasm to become the best educators they can be!

- Exchanging ideas and experiences among Social Science Education students to meet the needs of current and future teachers, as well as the needs of middle or high school students
- Addressing the needs of Social Science Education at a local, national and international contexts
- Having a lasting impact for all MSU Social Science students and the teaching of Social Science Education
- Participate and organize activities for Education students’ professional development and personal enrichment
